HempAmericana, Inc. (OTCMKTS:HMPQ) researches, develops and sells products made of industrial hemp, including CBD Oil. The Company also carries other non hemp based products but intends to focus primarily on the potential for hemp. In essence anything that can be made with plastic can be made with industrial hemp and HempAmericana plans to fill the growing need and demand for hemp based products in the United States.
Shortly after the turn of the New Year, HMPQ reported that it was on schedule to meet its principal CBD Oil production operational benchmarks. The company was awaiting the manufacturer testing of its Supercritical CO2 Extractor Machine before delivery, and negotiated Hemp raw stock purchases in sufficient quantities to allow for aggressive production targets.
HempAmericana, Inc. (OTCMKTS:HMPQ) followed up with another update this week, in the progress on what is poised to become one of the most advanced high-capacity CBD oil extraction facilities in operation today. Equipment is expected to arrive at the site in Augusta, Maine, within the next two weeks.
The Company is working with A.E. Hodsdon Engineers, a best-in-class engineering firm with clients spanning the New England region and a 40-year history of success. Additionally, the Company is also working closely with James Black, an expert and innovator in CBD oil extraction machinery with over a decade of experience in the field.
AE Hodsdon Engineers will be preparing the final, stamped drawings with details in the next couple of weeks. The team will be commencing work on the site imminently, beginning with the laboratory area first, which has been planned out as a noise-insulated, Duraclad-sheathed isolated chamber with 10-ft high ceilings.
The principal extraction equipment at the facility will be the Company’s current 10-Liter machine as well as its new 200-Liter behemoth, designed to output more capacity than any extant Supercritical CO2 CBD extraction machine ever assembled by the manufacturer.
With the market for CBD-oil products poised to grow by as much as 700% over the next two years (according to recent research reported in Forbes Magazine), management believes the Augusta facility will be coming online and churning out high-capacity production precisely on schedule to maximize ROI on investment in the project. While it appears the company’s focus will be primarily shifted to CBD processing and sales, it also remains diversified in the space with several other products on offer. Hemp hearts, which are shelled hemp seeds, are a popular health food, and are a way to squeeze extra revenue out of hemp shipments.
There is also Rolling Thunder rolling papers, which was the company’s flagship product prior to its decision to ramp up its CBD extraction to the next level. The papers are made from 100% pure hemp without any additives, and because they are much thinner than the average rolling paper, the company claims they are cleaner burning, and produce just a fraction of the ash as a traditional rolling paper.
